Series 2 aims to teach children the importance of information evaluation on the Internet, presenting the importance of critical evaluation criteria (e.g., currency, authority, point of view) to deal with misinformation and fake news.
Maddie, while searching for information on an unfamiliar country for a class assignment, embarks on a quest to find good quality information, using different sources, not all of which are reliable, as children are introduced to “How to spot fake news”, by the International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA).
